Photographer - Videographer

During his teenager period, photography was only a hobby to Ricky. He has been gaining his touch and angle perspective through his experience in the field since high school. When Ricky realized that photography was more than just a hobby, he started attending lots of photography seminars, workshops and short courses in Jakarta and Surabaya.

He moved to Bali in 2000 and started working as a freelance photographer. Later on, he improved his skill and became more focus and professional.

Ricky met with Nico who shared the same interest in photography. After staying for 17 years in Germany, Nico returned to his home land to share his business in the country. Ricky & Nico then came to an idea to combine their skills, abilities, talents and art to establish Ricky & Co Photography. Jl. Kerobokan Kelod No. 21, Kuta, Bali was the first official office. Currently the head office is located in Jl. P. Kawe, No. 35, Denpasar – Bali.

In developing its business, Ricky & Co Photography started opening up a branch office in Surabaya in the year 2005. Realizing the needs to expand the market, another branch office was opened in Jakarta in 2006, and the latest one was opened in Bandung in 2008. Because there were a lot of video inquiries from the clients, since 2005 Ricky & Co set up In-house videography, which is also very professional in taking the most beautiful moments in the wedding as well as pre-wedding, with cinematic video journalism style.

Presently, Ricky & CO Photography has been trusted as appointed photographer for several hotels in Bali, such as Conrad Hotel, Ayana Bali, Nusa Dua Beach Hotel, Blue Point Villa, Nikko Hotel, Grand Mirage Hotel, Sheraton Laguna Bali, and some more. Around 150 – 200 weddings have been documented every year, therefore, Ricky & Co Photography is very experienced and reliable in the wedding photography and videography field. To share his passion in photography and to fulfill his desire in giving the best photography education for the people who have interest in photography, in 2007 Ricky established Icon Conceptual School of Photography in Surabaya and opened up a branch in Denpasar, Bali in 2009. In 2008, Ricky joined in a group of international wedding photo journalist, The Wedding Photo Journalist Association (WPJA) from USA, as well as The Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photo Journalist Association (AGWPJA). In 2009, Ricky was recognized as the Top 20 Wedding Photo Journalist from AGWPJA.

Now Ricky & Co photography became one of the best Indonesian wedding photography & videography company that base in Denpasar Bali.
