Clarification Regarding Misuse of the Bali Wedding Association Logo and the Hacked Amora Bali Weddings Website

Clarification Regarding Misuse of the Bali Wedding Association Logo and the Hacked Amora Bali Weddings Website

The Bali Wedding Association (BWA) has recently become aware of incidents involving the misuse of our association’s name and logo, as well as misrepresentation of membership status by certain individuals in the Bali wedding industry.

It has come to our attention that Mr. Ralph van Slooten (Van Slooten, Ralph), also known as Chloe Lin, has been misrepresenting himself and his business activities as being associated with the Bali Wedding Association and with Amora Bali Weddings.

We wish to clearly state that:

  • Ralph van Slooten / Chloe Lin is not, and has never been, a member of the Bali Wedding Association.
  • He is not affiliated in any way with Amora Bali Weddings.
  • Amora Bali Weddings is an independent and legitimate wedding planning company, and is a recognized member of the Bali Wedding Association.

In addition, we have been informed that the previous website of Amora Bali Weddings (amorabaliweddingplanner.com) was hacked and taken over without authorization.
Since then, misleading information and false claims have circulated, causing confusion among couples and industry partners.

To avoid further misunderstanding, couples and partners are advised that:

  • The ONLY official and active website of Amora Bali Weddings is amorabaliweddings.com
  • The old domain (amorabaliweddingplanner.com) is no longer under the management of Amora Bali Weddings and should not be trusted as a source of accurate information.

The Bali Wedding Association strongly encourages couples to always:

  • Verify the official websites and social media accounts of vendors.
  • Cross-check vendor membership directly through the BWA member directory available on our official website: https://baliweddingassociation.com/member-directory/

BWA will continue to monitor this matter closely and take necessary steps to protect the integrity of the association and its members.
Our priority is to ensure that couples choosing Bali for their weddings can do so with trust, transparency, and confidence.
