Deputy Governor Suggests Bali Wedding Association to Get More Creative in How they Promote Bali Weddings

Beritabali.com reports that Bali’s deputy governor, Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati (Cok Ace), recently urged wedding organizers in Bali to demonstrate more creativity in marketing weddings on the Island. The deputy governor’s comments were made in a meeting with the chairman of the Bali Wedding Association Wedding Association (BWA), Sinly Anfeny, at a meeting in the deputy governor’s office on Thursday, February 28, 2018.

Cok Ace said there was huge potential of marketing wedding to Bali visitors wishing to solemnize their union among the natural beauty of the Island of Bali.

In order to secure this market, Cok Ace said wedding organizers need to be more creative in how they present the unique selling points of holding a wedding in Bali.

“When undertaking promotions (Wedding Organizers) need to present something that is truly unique about holding a wedding in Bali, such as using an antique automobile or a horse-drawn carriage bearing Balinese decorations.” Such steps, according to Cok Ace will leave a lasting impressing on the bride, groom and their guests.

In response, the chairman of BWA said members of the association are continuously seeking creative ways to promote weddings in Bali in order to increase the Island’s market share of the regional wedding market. New ideas under development include a “Go Green Wedding” that is conducted with no plastic, using only environmentally-friendly materials.
